The kitchen space belongs to the whole family and not to you alone. The moment you begin to think about remodeling it, you want to inform every member of the family. What little bits and tips that they offer will more than come in handy; it will help to define what the final output will look like.
The whole thought and process of kitchen remodeling is rather involving, so you should not try to go that distance alone. Sine you have friends, why not have your friend come around and offer you a couple of suggestions about how you could do it? At least that way, you would not exhaust yourself all on the thinking and planning process alone.

But that was before I decided to remodel the kitchen. And good thing I did; now my boyfriend and I spend as much time in there are we do anywhere else in my apartment.
If you don’t own the building, it might be awkward doing complete overhaul of the kitchen, even with the landlord’s permission. The thought that I would leave there someday, which could be sooner than later would certainly put me off too. So in that kind of instance, I’d do something simple and memorable, but nonetheless a kitchen remodeling.
You can tell a woman by the kind of kitchen that she keeps. If you don’t like the kitchen, chances are that your liking for her might be taking a hike soon afterwards. That’s why ladies need to get it into their heads that their kitchens are every bit part of them as their handbags.
The better you know your space, the better you can remodel it to suit your taste. Take your kitchen, for instance, being a place in which you spend a lot of time, you’d certainly know what you need out, and what else you need in if you are going to be remodeling. Once you can have those questions answered, you can rest better knowing all will be well.
In my line of work, I have seen more than my own fair share of kitchen remodeling jobs turn into real disasters. Always it was because the person doing the remodeling didn’t think a lot of the details through too thoroughly. This is why I would admonish you to take your time while you are at it, and make it into the best job it can possibly be.
